San Juan Island contingent of Team OBI

The Orca Behavior Institute started as an idea almost a decade ago, and it's amazing to reflect on how much we have grown since then. Tonight we had a gathering of the San Juan Island contingent of our team as a little end of summer celebration, and looking around at these smiling faces reminded me of how grateful I (Monika) am to have such passionate, creative people supporting what once upon a time not so long ago was nothing more than a pipe dream.

We have so many exciting things in the works, and it's all possible thanks to everyone that's part of Team OBI and to all of you who support and follow the work that we do out of love for the orcas we study.
